77 - Normal
This man can do it all (mostly). He is fast enough to catch a Martial on the break, and nimble enough to evade Walker and put in a dangerous cross. While his stats do look rather lackluster, I find it hard to believe that one would use all of them anyway. The main ones for me were Pace, Defending and Passing. With Backbone, he goes to 90 Standing Tackle, 85 Sliding Tackle and 92 Aggression. His crossing also goes up to 81, which is decent for a left back. Several things on his stats are deceivingly low. 69 Positioning is not true. He is always there to receive a through pass in the attacking third, but I never see him absent when defending a wing attack. The 71 Curve is also low, since I always put in great early crosses with him. Speaking of early, he usually needs to leave the field early, since his Stamina is horrendous. 77 is significantly overrated. He usually passes out by the 75th minute, at which point I have to put in someone else. He's also not very tall, so don't expect to win most of the aerial duels. One last thing: don't shoot with him. He's not bad, but he's not good. A left (wing) back like Wendell is there to defend and cross, so let him do those two things. Overall, he feels like Roberto Carlos, who I was lucky enough to have on loan for 8 games: a quick, attacking left back who also defends very well. Except he's 1200 coins.
- enough pace to catch the sweaty wingers you face in every game (Coman, Martial, Son, O. Dembele), and enough defending to cleanly detain the ball
- great at all types of crossing, but the best one is the early cross to far post
- nice workrates
- 1-2k
- short
- tires out between 70' and 80'
- can't shoot
